Once the gearlever is placed in 'DSG mode' Gear changes are controlled by shifting the gearlever up/down or by using the steering wheel mounted fingertip switches. With a quick flick on the 'upshift [+]' switch, the car will swiftly and cleanly change up a gear quicker than a regular manual gearbox. When changing down a gear (this is the bit I like best, great fun) you flick the 'downshift[-]' and then smoothly and quickly the gearbox will drop down a gear, the computer will blip with revs and downshifts with unbelievable cleanliness, just fantastic.
